MANALI

Hadimba Temple , Manali
Hadimba Temple also known as Dhungri temple, it is just
2 kms from the main Mall road. This is a beautiful temple in three tired
pagoda style structure having four roofs rising one above the other. Its
structure is 80 feet tall with varandah on three sides. Situated amidst
thick deodar forest, beautiful plantation makes this temple a heaven
like place.
Manu Temple , Manali
Another place to visit in Manali is temple of Manu
Maharaj, it is just 1.5 kms from the town. This is the rare temple of
Manu who wrote the social code of conduct in Manu samiriti. Just 6 kms
from the Manali bus stand is hot water sulphur spring of Vashist. There
are two temples of Guru Vashist and Lord Rama near these sulphur spring.
Solang Valley, Manali
Solang Valley is just 13 kms from the main bus stand, it
is famous for various activities such as skiing, snow scooter ride,
paragliding, horse riding, zorbing etc. Solang valley is also important
because various trek routes starts from here, it acts as a base camp for
various high altitude trekking.
Rahala fall is 27 kms from Manali, it is famous for its
beautiful water fall where river beas falls from a height of 50 meters.
It is also famous as a picnic spot.
Rohtang Pass, Manali
At an altititude of 4934 meters there is the Rohtang
Pass which is 51 kms from the Manali bus stand. This pass offers
magnificent view of Himalayan ranges of Himachal Pradesh. Snow could be
found round the year as temperature remains at freezing point in the
evening time. Apart from these there are also many must visiting tourist
spots. It may be snow bound winter, rainy season or enjoyable
